Modeling and Simulation Developer

Responsibilities: of the Modeling and Simulation Developer: Design, develop, and maintain advanced modeling and simulation applications. Build and integrate simulation capabilities within larger mission and system architectures. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and operational SMEs to improve simulation fidelity and performance. Develop new features, conduct testing and validation, and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Support interoperability and mission-focused testing efforts, including Naval Capabilities Integration Process (NCIP) initiatives. Lead project planning, technical documentation, data collection, and stakeholder coordination activities. Qualifications: for the Modeling and Simulation Developer Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or a related technical discipline. TS/SCI clearance 3+ years of software development experience focused on modeling, simulation, gaming, or virtual environments. Proficiency in one or more programming languages including C++, C#, Python, or Java. Experience with simulation or game-development platforms such as AFSIM (preferred), Unity, Unreal Engine, Simio, or Arena. Familiarity with Git or other version control systems and collaborative development practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting military, defense, or operational modeling and simulation programs. Knowledge of Naval systems and the Naval Capabilities Integration Process (NCIP). Familiarity with 3D graphics, physics engines, and database technologies such as SQL. Experience working in Agile or Scrum software development environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and mission-focused teams. Compensation: for the Modeling and Simulation Developer includes: Starting salary ranges from $150,000 to $160,000 based on experience.
