onsemi is seeking an Automation Technician - AMHS (Day 2 Shift) for the Hopewell Junction site. This role supports the operation, maintenance, and reliability of Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
The Automation Technician is responsible for ensuring continuous material flow by maintaining and troubleshooting automated transport systems, including FOUP handling, conveyors, stockers, and overhead hoist transport (OHT) equipment. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime and supporting overall factory throughput.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in working with automated systems in a high-tech manufacturing setting.
