MOHS SURGEON

Mohs Surgeon —Tulsa,Ok

A confidential dermatology organization is seeking a qualified Mohs Surgeon for a current opportunity in the Tulsa area.

The final schedule, surgical volume, referral structure, laboratory resources, reconstruction expectations, and any combination of Mohs, general, surgical, or cosmetic dermatology will depend on the specific organization and will be reviewed with qualified candidates.

Potential Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with cutaneous malignancies
• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery according to applicable clinical standards
• Perform appropriate repairs and reconstructions within training and privileges
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and follow-up instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with referring providers and clinical personnel
• Participate in quality-assurance and patient-safety processes

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
• Fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery or other training accepted by the hiring organization
• Active medical license in Oklahoma, or eligibility to obtain one
• Ability to complete required credentialing and obtain appropriate privileges
• Strong surgical judgment and patient communication
