Summary- The Mold Bar Operator is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, inspecting, and packaging mold bars and mold pins. The role involves operating CNC mills, lathes, riveters, and finishing equipment while following written procedures and safety guidelines. The operator ensures product quality through precise measurement, routine machine maintenance, and accurate documentation. This is a fully on site, hands on manufacturing role.
Roles & Responsibilities- Perform washing, cleaning, assembly, and production support tasks.
- Inspect mold pins and mold bars using micrometers, gauges, calipers, and visual checks.
- Repair and straighten mold bars to meet quality standards.
- Package finished mold bars with correct labeling and documentation.
- Follow written procedures, safety rules, and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain reliable on site attendance and support overtime/weekend work when required.
- Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, riveters, and finishing machines.
Education- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience- Experience with CNC machines or similar equipment preferred (not mandatory).
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers).
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic machine maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Physically able to perform hands on manufacturing tasks.
