Mold Processor

Put your mechanical skills to work! Looking for a hands-on maintenance role in a manufacturing environment? Join our team as a help keep plastic injection molding machines and production equipment running efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with mechanical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and experience working with machinery, hydraulics, and automated equipment.

Job Duties:

• 
  Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plastic injection molding machines, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and mechanical equipment.
  
• 
  Perform mold changes, adjustments, color changes, and cleaning or replacement of ejector nozzles.
  
• 
  Set up and adjust molds, machine temperatures, mold conditions, and injection molding cycle settings.
  
• 
  Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical controls, heaters, dryers, robots, and mold-cooling equipment.
  
• 
  Set up and adjust robots, automation lines, conveyor belts, and other production equipment.
  
• 
  Perform machine shutdowns and startups as needed to support production.
  
• 
  Complete mold change reports, troubleshooting reports, and mold condition reports accurately.
  
• 
  Enter mold change results into the appropriate system.
  
• 
  Monitor machinery during operation to identify problems and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
  
• 
  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety procedures.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Two-year technical school graduate or at least 2 years of equivalent experience in the field.
  
• 
  Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of injection molding processes.
  
• 
  Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and automated production equipment.
  
• 
  Ability to understand and apply the metric system and basic algebra.
  
• 
  Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  
• 
  Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow instructions.
