Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and gene therapy, is looking for a Molecular Biology - Associate in Pleasanton, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $43/hr on W2

Seeking a Molecular Biology Associate to support laboratory research through molecular biology experiments and assay execution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with digital droplet PCR (ddPCR), strong laboratory skills, and the ability to troubleshoot experiments while working in a collaborative research environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform molecular biology experiments using established laboratory protocols.
  
• Conduct and optimize digital droplet PCR (ddPCR) assays for nucleic acid analysis.
  
• Work with amino acid-related experiments and biomolecular analyses.
  
• Accurately document, analyze, and summarize experimental results.
  
• Troubleshoot experimental issues, communicate failures and lessons learned, and recommend solutions.
  
• Ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely execution of laboratory work.
  
• Present findings and collaborate with supervisors and cross-functional research teams.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  
• Hands-on experience with digital droplet PCR (ddPCR) (required).
  
• Experience performing molecular biology laboratory techniques and data analysis.
  
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
