Travel Telemetry Monitor Technician | York, ME
= Location: York, Maine
= Start Date: ASAP
= Contract Length: 15 Weeks
=R Shift: 36 Hours/Week
Two 12-hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
One 12-hour Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Current AHA BLS Certification
Minimum 2 Years of ECG/Dysrhythmia Monitoring Experience in a hospital, clinic, or similar healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and rhythm interpretation
Ability to complete the facility's Dysrhythmia Course and EKG competency requirements
Responsibilities
Continuously monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and promptly notify nursing staff of any changes in rhythm or rate.
Interpret ECG rhythms and document telemetry strips according to department standards.
Perform routine ectopy checks and telemetry strip documentation.
Initiate, configure, and discontinue telemetry monitoring as patients are admitted, transferred, or discharged.
Maintain telemetry equipment and ensure proper daily maintenance of telemetry boxes.
Perform EKG procedures as required.
Maintain accurate patient records, telemetry documentation, and charging information.
Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient care.
Deliver exceptional patient-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.
