Monitor Technician (Nights)

The Monitor Clerk monitors patients EKG rhythm patterns on electrocardiograph monitors. Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in rhythms. Ensures that monitors are functioning properly. Assists the clinical staff by performing a variety of clerical tasks that ensure the efficiency of the unit and provide outstanding customer service to our patients and visitors. Relies on established guidelines to accomplish tasks. Works under close supervision.

Successful completion of the Monitor Tech course within six months

Communication, Customer Service, computer Skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Able to use office equipment.
