About the Role

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will originate residential mortgage loans and guide borrowers from first conversation to closing. This is a full-time, in-office role at the Southfield, MI office. You will not be starting from zero. The company provides leads through multiple channels and warm transfers from its internal team, and an assistant handles support work so you can focus on originating. This role suits a licensed loan officer who is driven by sales, communicates clearly and wants to grow with a brokerage that is scaling.

What You'll Do

• Originate residential mortgage loans and guide borrowers through the financing process
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective and active clients
• Follow up promptly on company-provided leads and warm transfers
• Structure loan options and explain them clearly to borrowers
• Work closely with processing and support teams to move files efficiently
• Maintain compliance with NMLS and company requirements

What We're Looking For

• Active NMLS license (required)
• At least 6 months of mortgage experience
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment
• Able to pass a background check
• Eligible for licensure through the company
• Able to commute reliably to the Southfield office every day
