Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Educate customers on various mortgage products, interest rates, and lending options.
• Review customers’ financial information to determine the most suitable mortgage solution.
• Analyze credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documents to determine eligibility.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in lending guidelines.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on loan origination activities.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Generate leads through networking, referrals, and marking initiatives.
• Prepare and review loan documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local mortgage lending regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And/Or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, general business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mortgage loan origination.
• Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license following state and federal regulations.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
•  Strong analytical skills required.
• Proficient in using mortgage software and related technology tools.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure of deadlines.
• All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background, credit, and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

• Must exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Standing for long periods.

Working Conditions:

The working conditions are generally comfortable, with minimal exposure to noise, heat, dust, and other related items. All employees are required to maintain a neat and safe work area.
