Responsibilities

• Analyze clients' financial and credit information to determine their qualification for mortgage financing or refinancing.
• Build and nurture relationships with real estate professionals, financial advisors, borrowers, and builders to expand referral networks and generate loan opportunities.
• Assist clients throughout the loan application journey, from the initial consultation to closing, ensuring timely collection and processing of all required documents.
• Keep up-to-date with current mortgage rates, loan products, and regulatory requirements to offer clients accurate and relevant guidance.
• Work closely with underwriters, loan processors, and internal teams to facilitate prompt loan approvals while adhering to lender policies and federal regulations.
• Engage in community and real estate industry events to boost the company’s presence and cultivate new business leads.
• Implement diverse marketing and sales tactics to promote mortgage services and grow the client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or in a similar role within the mortgage lending industry.
• Current and valid NMLS license is required.
• Proven track record of successfully originating various types of mortgage loans and a deep understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and guidelines.
• Strong ability to analyze financial data and comprehend market trends to offer the best mortgage solutions to clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions.
• Proficiency in using mortgage loan software and understanding of the application process from pre-approval to closing.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
