Description
Title: MQ Exit Developer (C Programming)Location: Dallas, TXDuration: 6 MonthsJob Responsibilities:- Maintain existing IBM MQ channel exits, API exits, and message exits using C programming.
- Ensure exit implementations are thread-safe and optimized for multi-threaded IBM MQ environments.
- Integrate MQ exit logic with external systems such as LDAP and REST APIs where required.
- Provide L3 support for MQ exit-related issues in production environments.
- Work with platform and application teams to reduce reliance on exits by evaluating native IBM MQ features.
- Simplify and modernize legacy MQ exit implementations.
- Support migration initiatives.
- Maintain design documentation, code standards, and runbooks.
- Ensure proper lifecycle management of exit code, including versioning, deployment, and rollback.
Required Skills:- IBM WebSphere MQ Series
- C Programming
- Experience in maintaining IBM MQ channel exits, API exits, and message exits.
- Understanding of IBM MQ internals.
- Experience with thread-safe, multi-threaded MQ environments.
