MRI Technologist - Full Time (0.9 FTE, Night Shift)

PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist for a 0.9 FTE night shift position. This role performs routine and advanced MRI exams while providing safe, high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
Pay & Differentials
- Base pay: $49.42 - $74.18 hourly (Pay based on experience, education, and union agreement)
- Night differential: +$4.50/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized MRI examinations
- Prepare patients and equipment for exams
- Review clinical history and prior imaging to select proper protocols
- Operate MRI equipment and ensure image quality
- Follow ACR MRI safety guidelines at all times
- Perform venipuncture and contrast administration as required
- Document exams accurately in PACS/RIS
Required Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
Experience
- MRI or radiology experience preferred (1+ year)
- Venipuncture competency required
- Knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and imaging protocols
- Ability to work with PACS/RIS and computer-based imaging systems
Certification & Licensure
- ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), ARRT (S) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification required at hire OR
- ARMRIT certification accepted
- ARRT (MR) required within 18 months of hire if not already obtained
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure required at hire
- BLS certification required
