Responsibilities & Requirements -----------------------------
Job Summary The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams in a timely manner while maintaining a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols, including those related to research workflows. They interact positively with multiple patient populations and serve as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. Flexibility is essential, as the position may require on-call availability and holiday coverage. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements ----------------
Minimum Education -----------------
• Graduate from ARRT accredited MRI educational program OR Graduate from ARMRIT accredited MRI education program
Minimum Work Experience ---------------------
One year of MRI experience preferred.
Required Licenses -----------------
• Other • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT at hire (Preferred) • OR ARRT in one of these Radiography (R)/Nuclear Medicine (N)/Radiation Therapy (T)/ Sonography (S) required and get ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT within 24 months of hire date • Current BLS Required

• Proficient in operating an MRI scanner and adjusting imaging parameters • Well-versed and compliant in MRI safety and understands research workflow for MRI safety requirements • Patient positioning & comfort while ensuring patient safety • Emergency response • Attention to detail • Critical thinking and problem-solving • Time management • Empathy and patient care • The ability to work independently and work well with team members. • Capable of performing timely, quality MRI exams
Essential Functions ------------------
• Perform MRI Examinations • Ensure Patient Safety and Comfort • Administration of Contrast Media • Maintain MRI Equipment and Safety Standards • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary health care team • Document and Manage Patient Information • Research of Implantable Devices for MRI Compatibility • Adhere to Compliance and Regulatory Standards • Assist with Workflow and Operational Efficiency
