Join Our Team as an MRI Tech Radiology / Cardiology and Make a Difference in Patient Care

Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience, with a focus on radiology and cardiology imaging
- Valid ARRT MR certification and BLS certification
- Proficiency in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, ER/trauma, pediatric settings
- Expertise in abdomen, pelvis, chest, head & neck, musculoskeletal, and spine MRI procedures
- Ability to prepare and administer contrast media, start peripheral IVs, and follow isolation precautions
- Excellent knowledge of MRI protocols, including T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and special imaging procedures such as CINE and diffusion imaging
Nice to Have Skills
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, ARMRIT, or state licensure
- Advanced experience with cardiac MRI, MR angio, perfusion imaging, or post-processing techniques
- Leadership or management experience in imaging departments
- Familiarity with Siemens Aera 1.5T systems, Pyxis, EPIC, Visage PACS
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology, Medical Imaging, or related field
- At least 2 years of recent MRI experience in a hospital setting
- Prior travel or contract imaging assignment experience is welcomed, but first-time travelers are also encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-volume environments with diverse patient populations
Other Requirements
- Shift: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 07:00 to 19:30; 36 hours per week
- Must be fully available for orientation, which lasts 72 hours; no excuses for missing any portion
- Ability to start between Wednesday and Friday, with the final schedule confirmed by Novant prior to start date
- Travel reimbursements available for applicable expenses
- No float requirements; stable shift schedule only
