MRI Technician - Contract

Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Atlanta, GA 30342
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week (5x8-hour shifts)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience within the specialty.
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
• Required Certifications:
  • AHA BLS
  • ARRT (MRI)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Prepare, screen, and educate patients prior to MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust imaging parameters to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Maintain MRI safety standards by screening patients for contraindications, implants, and metallic devices.
• Administer contrast media when appropriate and within the scope of practice.
• Perform routine equipment quality control and report equipment issues as needed.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging procedures in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
