Jobs in this job family are responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to support patient care, clinical research, and medical education. These roles utilize advanced imaging technologies-such as X-rays, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology-to produce high-quality images that aid in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of medical conditions.

These jobs operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines to produce detailed images of the body"s internal structures. These images help in diagnosing and monitoring a variety of medical conditions.

Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty. Typically involves diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients, and often include face-to-face interactions with patients. May also spend some time designing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills. Specialty license or certification required which is acquired through advanced education, training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care and/or scientific/laboratory technologist jobs.

Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and require vocational or technical education. Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation .

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:• Experienced candidate(s) should have completed MRI training/competency via the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).• Inexperienced candidate(s) at a minimum, must be certified in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Sonography, or Vascular Sonography.• Associate's Degree preferred, but not required.

Experience: MRI experience preferred but not required.

Licensure:• Experienced candidate(s) must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).• Inexperienced candidate(s) must be registered in X-Ray, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy by one or more of the following agencies: "ARRT - The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; ARDMS - The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or NMTCB - The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board."• MRI Certification via the ARRT or ARMRIT must be successfully completed within 9 months of hire.• American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to, cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The pay range for this role is $41.00 - $56.50 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate"s qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
