Job Description

Title: MRI Technologist

Location: High Point North Carolina 27262

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12hr Day Shift - 36

Shift Information: Weekdays 7A-7P


Clinical Interviewing- No

On Call, Call Back Requirements: Once every 5th Sunday (Sun 0700- Mon 0700)

Weekend Rotation: Every other Sat

Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements: None

Department Information:
  • Census: Average patients/day: 27/day
Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years
Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
  • ED, IP, OP
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:
  • BLS, ARRT- MR, ARMRIT (also accept)
Skills required:
  • Experience with ED, inpatients and outpatients.
  • IV skills; pacemaker (preferred)
  • EPIC (preferred)
Support within the Department:
  • Transport during the day (0730-1800)
Technology/Equipment:
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Department specific Equipment: Siemens Vida 3T and Espree 1.5T
Floating: None

Orientation (facility and unit):
  • NEO, 2 days departmental
