Full Time MRI Technologist – Near Wichita, KS

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist for a full-time opportunity with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Wichita, Kansas. Position Overview
The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent patient care skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and monitoring during scans
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostics
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Educate patients on procedures and address any concerns or questions
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulatory guidelines

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required
  • ARRT (MR) certification preferred or required within a specified timeframe
  • Active Kansas state licensure (if applicable)
  • BLS certification required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MRI equipment and imaging techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
