MRI Technologist – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• ARRT MRI certification
• CPR certification
• 3 years of experience
• Experience with routine MRI, MRA exams, body imaging, MSK imaging, neuro imaging, and contrast injections
• IV training

Assignment Details:

• Shift hours: 1:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Equipment: Signa Explorer 1.5T
• Documentation systems: Meditech, GE PACS, Intelerad
• Setting includes outpatient imaging with occasional ER add-ons
• Patient volume: 1 patient every 45 minutes
• Floating not required
• Required uniform: grey scrubs

Location Highlights

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina offers coastal living with access to more than 60 miles of shoreline along the Grand Strand and direct proximity to Myrtle Beach State Park. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade stretches 1.2 miles along the oceanfront, and Broadway at the Beach features shopping, dining, and entertainment in a central district. Huntington Beach State Park is about 20 miles south of Myrtle Beach, and Brookgreen Gardens sits nearby with sculpture gardens and protected wildlife areas.
