    Job Description

    Position Overview

    The MRI Technologist will ensure that the evaluation of MRI procedures, equipment and staff are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable. The MRI Technologist will perform all duties as required to ensure continuity and accuracy of patient care. Customers served include CMH employees, Medical Staff, patients, families and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service.

    Primary Department, Division, or Unit:

    Radiology, UHS Delaware Valley Hospital

    Work Shift and Schedule:

    This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.

    Compensation Range:

    $33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience

    This position is not eligible for benefits.

    Education/Experience

    Minimum Required:

    • Graduation from an accredited school with a degree in MRI Technology and
    • Experience in the intravenous administration of conventional MR contrast, supervised by a qualified physician or a qualified technologist.

    License/Certification

    Minimum Required:

    • ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered as an MRI Technologist within 12 months of supervised MRI clinical scanning experience.
    • NYS license to perform Radiologic examinations.
    • Maintain BLS certification and be capable of using an AED. Maintain CE requirements as applicable.
