The opportunity

We're looking for an MRO Material Planner to join our Miramar team, reporting to the Supply Chain and Planning Manager.

You'll plan, schedule and manage the materials needed for production, working across procurement, logistics and production to help ensure parts are available when they're needed.

From monitoring inventory and releasing work orders to managing backorders and expediting urgent materials, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting material availability and production requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Plan, schedule and manage materials for production.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate the procurement or transfer of materials as needed.
• Release work orders to the shop floor in collaboration with the Production Planner.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics and Production to support the timely delivery and availability of parts.
• Track backorders and expedite urgent materials.
• Resolve supply chain issues affecting material availability.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to manage material data and planning forecasts.

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of materials planning experience, including multi-level bills, MRP supply and demand, lead time and safety stock.
• Desirable: Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
• Desirable: Aerospace industry experience.
