- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of professional experience in mixed-signal design and/or verification.
- Solid track record of designing multiple complex IPs with Si learnings
- Understand and execute IP design, simulations methods, boundary conditions, stress and reliability simulations, PVT/PMC/SOA simulations.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and methodologies
- Strong CMOS circuit design fundamentals, circuit architectures.
- Ability to clearly articulate issues, challenges, and concerns to all levels of management
- Good understanding of various building blocks like charge pump, LDOs, gate drivers, comparators, linear regulators, gm-stage and relevant Analog building blocks
- Understanding of LED drivers, SiC/GAN devices and drivers is a strong plus
- Strong Analog IC design skills, debug of complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing
- Familiarity with advanced Bipolar, CMOS, and High Voltage BCD technology, Process, Device Physics, Semiconductor Manufacturing processes, and their impact on Analog performance
- understanding of power transistor Design, Layout, and Robustness
- Proficiency in leading-edge design and verification tools such as Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations, Cadence Spectre for schematic capture, simulation, layout, and tape-out
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $127,800.00 to $219,000.00 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. - Own technical outcomes of design, verification, implementation, and execution of power management ICs with complexities that can span from simple regulators to complex mixed-signal designs and control loops.
- Understand project goals, create a realistic schedule and resource plan, track execution schedule to plan, monitor progress, and provide full clarity to the team on the goals and objectives.
- Ensure first-pass success and timely execution using established design methodologies.
