The Clinic Manager leads the clinic by facilitating effective communication and collaboration among healthcare providers, hospital administration, and clinic staff to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations. This position is responsible for overseeing all operational, financial, and human resource functions of the clinic, guaranteeing compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies. The Clinic Manager ensures a high standard of patient care and satisfaction through efficient workflow management, staff performance monitoring, and maintaining a safe and well-equipped clinical environment.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Management, or related field.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
  • Coding certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a clinic or healthcare setting required.
  • 2+ years leadership, supervisory, or lead role experience required.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  •  Oversee and evaluate the performance of clinic employees and providers, including recruitment, training, orientation, discipline, and ongoing development to build a competent and motivated team.
  • Act as the primary liaison and communication channel between providers, hospital administration, and clinic staff to promote coordinated patient care and operational alignment.
  • Manage all clinic and provider scheduling, including coordinating locum tenens support to ensure uninterrupted clinical services.
  • Handle patient complaints, concerns, and grievances with professionalism and sensitivity, promoting patient satisfaction and equitable treatment.
  • Implement, monitor, and enforce clinic policies, procedures, and workflows, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency and quality of care.
  • Ensure the clinic environment is maintained in a clean, safe, and compliant manner; oversee annual inventory management, equipment maintenance, and timely reporting of facility issues.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor the clinic budget, track expenditures against financial goals, and provide detailed financial, personnel, and quality management reports to senior leadership.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all patients, clinic, and hospital information, upholding legal and ethical standards including patient privacy and civil rights.
  • Lead and participate in ongoing staff education, in-service training, and professional development to keep the team current with industry best practices, Rural Health Clinic regulations, and Medical Home standards.
  • Utilize knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding to support accurate clinical documentation and billing processes, assisting medical staff as needed.

  •  Strong organizational skills and the demonstrated ability to effectively lead multiple projects and teams
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills to build rapport with clinical and administrative staff, providers, and patients; communicates clearly in fast-paced and sensitive healthcare environments.
  • Able to establish priorities and coordinate work activities of self and staff.
  • Able to identify problems and recommend solutions.
  • Must possess the ability to work with and respect highly confidential information. Understands and upholds HIPAA regulations and internal policies to protect sensitive patient and clinic information.
  • Skilled in EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and clinic scheduling tools.

  •  Requires periods of sitting, standing.
  •  Requires frequent use of computer and telephone
  •  Needs ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on telephone 
  •  Occasional exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue, communicable diseases, chemicals, including but not limited to sticks or cuts by needles and other sharp items. Employee eligible for Hepatitis B Vaccination if desired.

 Compensation:

$42.76-$58.94 DOE
