Job Title: Insurance Sales Agent

Training: Video tutorials, compliance training, and shadowing provided
Goal: Earn commissions on new policies written and quotes acquired through pivots. Generate referrals and bring new business into the agency by driving new prospects, prospecting and following up, making and returning sales calls, scheduling and meeting with prospective customers, and building strong relationships. Convert opportunities into new policies, and identify pivot opportunities to expand customers into additional coverages.


Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Sales Agent to join our team and help customers make smart insurance decisions. You’ll provide great service while driving new sales through inbound conversations, policy updates, and needs-based product pivots.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls professionally and promptly
• Speak with customers to understand needs and recommend appropriate coverage
• Quote and explain policy options clearly and accurately
• Assist customers with adding or trading vehicles on their policies
• Handle coverage changes and billing questions while identifying sales opportunities
• Pivot customers to additional products you are licensed to sell
• Focus on retention by delivering outstanding service and following through on next steps
• Generate referrals from satisfied customers
• Encourage customers to leave Google reviews
• Process customer payments accurately
• Assist customers with setting up claims and coordinate next steps when needed
