WWLP-22News, the NBC affiliate serving Western Massachusetts, is seeking a highly motivated Multi-Platform Sales Account Executive to drive new business development and digital revenue growth across Eastern Massachusetts, with a primary focus on Worcester County and Greater Boston.

This role is ideal for a consultative seller who thrives on prospecting, building client relationships, and helping businesses grow through innovative digital marketing solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a book of business, generating new revenue, and delivering customized advertising strategies across our full suite of digital and broadcast platforms.

Position Summary

The Multi-Platform Sales Account Executive will serve as a strategic marketing consultant to businesses throughout Eastern Massachusetts. The primary objective of this role is to generate new digital advertising revenue while leveraging the full power of the WWLP and Nexstar Media portfolio to deliver impactful marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth with a primary focus on digital advertising products and services.
• Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan for Worcester County and Greater Boston.
• Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through direct sales outreach, networking, referrals, and lead generation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, agencies, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct needs analyses and develop customized, results-driven marketing recommendations.
• Present integrated advertising solutions that include digital advertising, streaming video, social media, programmatic advertising, targeted display, search, email marketing, and traditional broadcast solutions.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
• Develop, negotiate, and execute multi-platform advertising campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales support, digital teams, and station leadership to ensure campaign success.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging digital advertising opportunities.
• Consistently achieve and exceed activity, revenue, and new-business goals.
• Accurately manage sales activities and pipeline within CRM systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Minimum of one year of successful sales experience; media, advertising, marketing, or digital sales experience preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and grow client relationships.
• Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of digital advertising solutions, including display, video, social media, streaming/OTT, programmatic, search, and audience targeting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
