Saint James Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Multisite RN Supervisor, a leadership role responsible for overseeing vaccine management, clinical staff training, and workflow accountability across multiple locations. This role supports operational consistency, regulatory compliance, and performance oversight of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs). The Multisite RN Supervisor will lead the NJIIS/VFC immunization program and support the development of clinical support staff across all Saint James Health sites. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring prior supervisory experience, with direct reporting to the Director of Nursing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Immunization Program Oversight
Lead vaccine management across multiple sites, including storage, handling, inventory, and documentation
Ensure compliance with VFC (Vaccines for Children), 317, NJIIS, CDC, and New Jersey Department of Health requirements
Perform monthly audits of vaccine storage, temperature logs, and documentation
Investigate and resolve vaccine errors and implement corrective action plans
Maintain audit readiness for HRSA, VFC, and Department of Health reviews
Clinical Training & Workforce Development
Assist with implementation of standardized training programs for LPNs and Medical Assistants
Provide ongoing coaching and real-time feedback to clinical staff
Identify performance gaps and recommend improvement plans
Support workforce development initiatives, including certifications and continuing education
Workflow Oversight & Accountability
Monitor and enforce clinical workflows related to immunizations, intake, and patient flow
Conduct regular audits of workflows, documentation, and task completion
Ensure adherence to Epic workflows, standing orders, and UDS documentation standards
Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
Partner with front desk leadership to support staffing coverage and operations
Multi-Site Clinical Operations Leadership
Supervise and support clinical support staff (LPNs and MAs) across multiple locations
Travel between sites to ensure consistency in clinical operations and compliance
Collaborate with nursing leadership to resolve operational challenges
Lead trainings and performance improvement initiatives
Quality & Compliance
Support quality initiatives aligned with HRSA UDS measures, including immunization and preventive care metrics
Ensure adherence to infection control policies and clinical safety standards
Participate in incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions as directed
Maintain current knowledge of FQHC regulatory requirements and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience, preferably in an FQHC, ambulatory care, or community health setting
Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience, including oversight of staff across multiple sites
Experience managing VFC/317/NJIIS immunization programs, including vaccine storage, handling, and compliance; experience in pediatrics, OB/GYN, or family practice preferred
Experience training and supervising LPNs and Medical Assistants
Knowledge of FQHC operations, HRSA, UDS, and VFC requirements preferred
Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
