An established and highly respected general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead a large-scale, ground-up multifamily development in Central New Jersey. This role requires a proven leader with strong wood-frame multifamily experience and a deep understanding of site development and heavy civil work on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities for a $40M+ ground-up multifamily development consisting of 200+ residential units.
- Manage daily field operations, subcontractors, scheduling, safety, quality, and project coordination.
- Lead complex sitework activities, including infrastructure improvements, roadway construction, utilities, grading, and site development.
- Coordinate with project management teams, consultants, municipalities, and ownership groups to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively resolve field issues to keep work progressing efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Serve as the primary on-site representative, maintaining a professional and client-focused presence throughout the project lifecycle.
Profile
The Successful Candidate
- 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent overseeing wood-frame multifamily construction projects.
- Strong background managing large-scale sitework and ground-up construction on raw land developments.
- Experience delivering multifamily projects with 100+ residential units.
- Proven ability to manage roadway, utility, and infrastructure-related construction activities.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact directly with ownership and key stakeholders.
- Highly organized, professional, and capable of thriving in a client-facing environment.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within quality expectations.
