Multifamily Superintendent

A well-established General Contractor with a strong backlog of multifamily construction projects is seeking an experienced Multifamily Superintendent to join their team. This position is responsible for leading day-to-day field operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Superintendent Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day field operations for multifamily construction projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Manage project schedules and ensure work is progressing according to plan
• Coordinate sequencing and scheduling between multiple trades
• Review plans, specifications, and project documents for accuracy and constructability
• Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications
• Enforce company and OSHA safety standards on the jobsite
• Conduct regular jobsite meetings and communicate project expectations
• Identify potential schedule, quality, and field issues and develop solutions
• Coordinate inspections and ensure projects remain on track for milestones
• Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
• Work closely with the Project Manager and project team to successfully deliver the project
• Manage punch list and closeout activities

Superintendent Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience managing field operations on ground-up construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
• Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and multiple trades
• Strong scheduling, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong understanding of jobsite safety and quality control
• OSHA certification is a plus
• Procore or other construction software experience is a plus
