Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Our Music Therapists are a key part of our interdisciplinary team, providing comfort, connection and dignity to patients through the healing power of music . As a Music Therapist You will:       

• Assess patients' functional status, music al responses, and preferences

• Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients meet goals

• Deliver music therapy using instruments, singing, movement, and listening

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly and update care team

• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care

• Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives

• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and staff on treatment plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in music therapy from an AMTA-approved program

• Board-certified (MT-BC) by CBMT

• Preferred: 2 years clinical music therapy experience

• Valid driver's license with insured, reliable vehicle

• Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

• Understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life issues
