Location: Remote – Houston and Surrounding Areas

Reports To: Corporate Sales / Account Management Leadership
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours, with additional flexibility during peak seasonal demand.
Travel: This is a fully remote position with approximately 30% of the workweek spent in the field visiting assigned retail stores and customer locations. The remaining time will be dedicated to remote account management, reporting, forecasting, and coordination with internal teams.

- $65,000-70,000 a year

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a sales- and relationship-driven National Accounts Coordinator - Retail to grow and manage partnerships with major retail accounts such as Home Depot, Lowe's, and other national retailers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships and driving account growth, and who is comfortable using data and reporting to support those conversations — not someone looking for an analyst or back-office role. You'll work closely with sales, operations, logistics, and production teams to ensure customer needs, forecasting, and inventory levels are met throughout the year.
This is a customer-facing account management role that blends relationship management, sales growth, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with corporate retail customers (store managers, district managers, regional managers, corporate teams).
- Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and forecasts to help ensure in-stock performance.
- Coordinate with operations, production, transportation, and sales teams to execute customer needs.
- Monitor purchase orders, inventory positions, and logistics to proactively resolve potential issues.
- Assist with seasonal forecasting, promotions, new product launches, and inventory planning.
- Prepare reports, sales analysis, and customer presentations using Excel and other reporting tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support long-term account growth.
- Work closely with replenishment teams and internal departments to maintain excellent customer service and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience managing large retail or big-box accounts (Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a track record of growing, retaining, or expanding key accounts.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze sales, inventory, forecasts, and performance data.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain customer
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, logistics, and production teams.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in data and analytics combined with sales and account management experience.
- Experience supporting national retail accounts such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart, or similar.
- Experience using CRM and reporting platforms.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment, and demand forecasting.
- Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software.
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, or supply chain operations.
- Experience preparing sales reports, forecasts, and customer presentations.
- Familiarity with logistics coordination and transportation planning.
- Experience supporting seasonal promotions or product launches.
- Continuous improvement or process optimization experience.
Work Environment / Schedule
