The National Business Director (NBD) will report to the Vice President, U.S. Strategic Customer Engagement. This role will be field based, with regular visits to the Sleepy Hollow, NY headquarters office as needed.
The NBD, Hematology, will be responsible for optimizing business performance by leading field management teams and the medical specialists who report to the Regional Business Directors. This role will maximize growth of the products within the Hematology commercial portfolio while remaining steadfast in Regeneron's goal to serve patients. The NBD will lead field teams, motivate and develop team members to deliver on CBU goals and customer expectations, and work closely with cross-functional partners. This role is responsible for all products within the Hematology portfolio, including developing and implementing field-based strategies and tactics to optimize operational and financial goals.
The individual must be capable of developing credible, trusted relationships with field personnel and aligning colleagues across Marketing, Market Access, Oncology Key Account Management, Thought Leader Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Commercial Operations, Trade and Distribution, and Medical Affairs through knowledge and experience. This individual must also collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the broader Commercial, Corporate, and R&D organizations.
The successful candidate will have a strong presence with experts in the field and the ability to develop key relationships with experts in emerging tumor-type therapeutic areas.
The NBD must foster a customer- and patient-driven Regeneron culture, ensuring patients come first in all business activities. This leader will deliver field commitments within budget, revenue targets, and timelines while ensuring field team compliance with federal, state, and local laws, industry regulations, and guidelines. The NBD will lead a team of Regional Directors and their Hematology Oncology medical specialist teams.
