Lead national sales of Gamut's podcast inventory, targeting ad agencies and brands.
Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals across direct, agency, and sponsorship business.
Conduct independent prospecting, identifying key decision-makers at target companies, and tailoring outreach based on insights.
Collaborate with the GM to develop and customize sales materials, presentations, and sponsorship proposals for various clients.
Build and maintain relationships with national ad agencies and brands, owning follow-up and driving deals to close.
Partner with local market sellers as needed to ensure a cohesive sales strategy.
Maintain a working understanding of podcast distribution and measurement across platforms, including YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts, and IAB-certified download and impression metrics.
Stay current on host-read, programmatic, and dynamic ad insertion (DAI) buying models, and clearly explain the trade-offs to clients.
Regularly update the GM on sales activity, pipeline, and progress against forecast.
Contribute content and insights to Gamut's LinkedIn presence to support brand visibility, thought leadership, and lead generation.
Obtain credit approval for new national accounts and ensure timely payment of receivables, coordinating with finance on collections for past-due business as needed.
Attend special events involving clients, which may occur after business hours and on weekends.
May be assigned other duties as needed.
