About the Role:
Rapid Care Innovation Transport LLC is looking for a dependable and compassionate NEMT Driver to join our growing team in Cedar Rapids, IA. Responsibilities:

• Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments, dialysis centers, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities
• Assist passengers with boarding, deboarding, and securing wheelchairs or mobility devices
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and documentation in compliance with NEMT regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and passengers
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and patient privacy (HIPAA) guidelines
• Manage on-time pickups and drop-offs while adapting to schedule changes as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience with wheelchair securement and passenger assistance preferred
• Strong punctuality, reliability, and time management skills
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor when working with elderly or disabled passengers
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Knowledge of Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas is a plus
