Job Summary:

Mission Hospital—western North Carolina’s leading regional health system—is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our experienced Level III/IV NICU team in beautiful Asheville. Both experienced and newly graduated NNPs encouraged to apply.


Qualified candidates
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program with an NNP specialty
  • Current RN and APRN licensure in North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain).
  • National NNP certification (NCC).
  • PALS or NRP certification
  • Minimum 1–2 years of NICU experience preferred; new NNP graduates with strong NICU backgrounds will be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high‑acuity, fast‑paced clinical settings.

Role Highlights
  • 12-hour shifts days or nights
  • Responsibilities include comprehensive H&P, management and treatment of at-risk newborns, delivery room attendance and infant stabilization 
  • 24/7 in-house Neonatologist support
