Peerless is searching for a US citizen and a skilled engineer to support the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) in the acquisition, development, and sustainment of data networks and Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) related to Advanced Meter Reading Systems (AMRS). The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise in system design, cybersecurity, and network configuration while ensuring the security and efficiency of advanced metering systems across Air Force installations. This is an in person position in Panama City Fl.
Requirements
Active Secret DoD Security Clearance
DoD 8570 / IAT Level II certification
Strong system administration skills (Windows environment)
Ability to conduct site surveys and generate detailed technical reports
Knowledge of FRCS, serial and Ethernet network configurations, and cybersecurity standards
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Advanced Meter Reading Systems (AMRS) or similar control systems
Familiarity with RMF and Air Force cybersecurity compliance processes
Strong communication and technical writing skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
