Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Network and Security Administrator. This is an onsite role, responsible for managing and optimizing network security and operations. The position is located in Sunnyvale, CA, or Austin, TX, and is a 6-month contract.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in network operations and firewall administration.
• Strong expertise in PAN-OS rule optimization, auditing, and administration.
• Experience with fleet-wide software upgrades for network devices.
• Proficiency in security policy creation on firewalls.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk dashboard remediation for firewall health.
• Knowledge of multi-vsys to zone-based firewall conversion projects.
• Familiarity with DevNet Type-3 wireless configuration deployments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Handle firewall requests and troubleshooting.
• Manage lab onboarding, profiling, and securing.
• Conduct lab deployments and VLAN expansions for enhanced network segmentation.
• Oversee migration of lab VRF instances to new firewalls for lab cleanup.
• Lead technology refresh initiatives for firewalls.
• Coordinate Panorama migrations for centralized management.
• Perform BGP conversion for legacy LAN aggregation firewalls.
• Create and troubleshoot VxLan.
