Network Architect / Lead Network Engineer
Position Summary
We are seeking a senior Network Architect/Lead Network Engineer to lead architecture, engineering, operations, security, modernization, and performance management for a large distributed enterprise network.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and support enterprise LAN/WAN and wireless environments.
- Design highly available and resilient network architectures.
- Engineer routing, switching, wireless, remote access, and external connectivity.
- Perform capacity planning, traffic analysis, and performance optimization.
- Support network segmentation and Zero Trust/security initiatives.
- Integrate network monitoring with enterprise operational and cybersecurity platforms.
- Lead complex network troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Support firewall, VPN, secure gateway, and network-security integration.
- Develop network lifecycle and modernization roadmaps.
- Coordinate telecommunications carriers, vendors, and external service providers.
- Develop network disaster-recovery and resilience strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of network engineering experience.
- 5+ years designing large enterprise networks.
- Advanced knowledge of routing, switching, WAN, wireless, VPN and network security.
- Experience supporting geographically distributed, high-availability environments.
- Strong network monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, Juniper, cloud networking or equivalent.
