Job Description
Presidio is hiring a Network Architect for their client in Tallahassee, Florida experienced in enterprise level network support procedures including network monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, performance optimization, incident response, and network security.
This Network Architect will work onsite five days per week as an integrated member of our client’s technology team.
Job Responsibilities
Required Experience
Minimum 5+ years of enterprise-level IT support experience.
Technical Expertise
- LAN, WLAN, and WAN design, implementation, and support
- Network switching technologies (Cisco, Juniper)
- Load balancer administration and support (F5, Kemp)
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of Storage Area Networks (SANs)
- Network security, including:
- Access Control Lists (ACLs)
- Firewall policy management
- Proxy policy management
- Mail gateway administration
- Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
- Cisco IronPort security solutions
- Telecommunications technologies, including:
- POTS
- PRI
- SIP Trunks
- Cloud networking and hybrid connectivity solutions
- Implementation and support of Cisco Collaboration technologies, including:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM/UCM)
- Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX)
- Cisco Unity Connection
- Design and implementation of network resiliency solutions, including:
- Disaster Recovery (DR)
- High Availability (HA)
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills under pressure
- Effective collaboration with cross functional teams
- Willingness to mentor through knowledge sharing and skill development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
