The Network Engineer is a professional responsible for supporting and maintaining network infrastructure, performing routine troubleshooting, and assisting in documentation and basic configurations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Installs, configures, tests, and maintains network equipment.
• Monitors network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Implements security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Develops and maintains documentation for network configurations.
• Collaborates with other IT staff to optimize network performance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field OR in lieu of a bachelors degree 4+ years of experience in network engineering or information technology is required.

Experience

4+ years of experience required for those who do not have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology

Qualifications

• Proficiency in various networking protocols, routing, and hardware.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
• Ability to provide technical support and troubleshoot complex network issues.
