Network Engineer

Clearance: TS/SCI- FSP
Skill Level 1 Provides network support requiring system-level design and architecture, enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure, packet-capture software, the TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls.
Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filtering and access control, CiscoWorks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP OpenView, Cisco routers and switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, InfiniBand, Juniper, Fibre Channel SAN, and IPsec VPN.
- Physical installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and routing/switching protocols; strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls.
- Working knowledge of the Atlassian Tool Suite.
- Support on-call requirements and work in a live-call environment using Remedy or another ticketing system.
- VMware and Solaris-container virtualization products.
Three (3) years of demonstrable experience with a degree, or five (5) years without, in LAN network engineering, architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
Datacenter network design and architecture experience, including installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec virtual private networks.EOE
