Network Project Manager

Payrate: $50.00- $59.00/hr.
 
Responsibilities:

• Analyzes architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs.
• Interface with Engineering, Operations and Network Planning organizations to serve and support proper designs needed to simplify and modernize the legacy network.
• Track monthly Engineering and Operations progress to ensure progress is being made to achieve Open For Sales, Copper Migration and Switch shutdown targets.
• Sharing progress with leaders and other stakeholders with dashboards and reports.

 
Must Have Skills:

• Strategic & Analytical Thinking
• Ability to assess network topology and identify consolidation opportunities
• Cost-benefit analysis — evaluating which sites/circuits to consolidate and when
• Scenario planning — modeling different consolidation sequences and their impact
• Network & Infrastructure Knowledge
• Deep understanding of network architecture (WAN, LAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, circuits)
• Familiarity with facility types — data centers, comms rooms, edge sites
• Understanding capacity planning and service dependencies
• Data & Inventory Management
• Ability to work with network inventory systems and asset registers
• Identifying gaps, redundancies, and rationalization opportunities in circuit/equipment data
• Proficiency in Excel/data tools for modeling and reporting

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Business or equivelant experience

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $50.00 - $59.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
