Network Security Engineer - AI Platforms

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Network Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or Cyber Security Engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
• Cisco Firepower / ASA
• Fortinet FortiGate
• Check Point Firewalls
• F5 Load Balancers
• Zscaler
• Netskope

Experience securing AI and GenAI platforms including Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, and custom AI workloads.

Strong understanding of:

• Network Segmentation
• Zero Trust Architecture
• Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
• Software Defined Perimeter (SDP)
• Micro-segmentation
• Network Access Control (NAC)

Expertise in:

• Proxy Security
• DNS Security
• Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
• Cloud Network Security
• API Security

Experience with cloud networking and security across:

• Azure
• AWS
• GCP

Knowledge of network protocols:

• TCP/IP
• DNS
• HTTPS/TLS
• VPN
• BGP
• OSPF

Experience with IDS/IPS solutions and threat prevention technologies.

Familiarity with EDR/XDR platforms and SIEM integration.

Knowledge of AI-specific network risks including:

• Data leakage
• Unauthorized AI access
• API abuse
• Shadow AI traffic
• AI model exposure

Experience with security monitoring using Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or similar platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures supporting enterprise AI and GenAI platforms.
• Secure AI traffic flows between users, applications, cloud services, and external AI providers.
• Implement network segmentation and Zero Trust control s to protect sensitive AI environments.
• Configure and manage firewalls, proxies, VPNs, SWGs, and cloud security controls.
• Develop security controls for AI platform connectivity, APIs, and data exchanges.
• Monitor network activity to detect unauthorized AI usage, anomalous traffic patterns, and potential threats.
• Investigate and respond to network security incidents affecting AI applications and infrastructure.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability reviews, and architecture evaluations for AI deployments.
• Work closely with Cloud, AI Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security Operations teams to ensure secure AI adoption.
