Summary of Position:

As a Tier 2 Network Engineer, you will be pivotal in maintaining, securing, and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure. This role demands expertise in managing and configuring a range of advanced firewall and network security solutions, Including Extreme Switch, Bluecat, IPAM, DNS, DHCP, DDI, Fortigate, Extreme Wireless, Extreme Networks. You will collaborate with clients to assess their network needs, design and implement tailored solutions, and ensure robust and reliable network operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy secure network solutions using Routing & Switching, Extreme Switch Bluecat, IPAM, DNS, DHCP, DDI, Fortigate, Extreme Wireless, Extreme Networks.
• Conduct network assessments, identifying areas for enhancement and optimizing performance and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues to maintain high levels of performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and develop customized network solutions.
• Document network configurations, changes, and operational procedures thoroughly.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in network security and advanced firewall management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Radware Certified, or equivalent are preferred.
• Extensive experience with Extreme Switch, Bluecat, IPAM, DNS, DHCP, DDI, Fortigate, Extreme Wireless, Extreme Networks. Proficiency in network protocols, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, and DNS.
• Strong knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• 5+ years of experience in network operations or a related role.
