Role Overview
As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II, you will perform advanced neurodiagnostic testing and support providers in delivering accurate neurological evaluations within an outpatient multispecialty setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing neurodiagnostic procedures including EEG, LTM, TCD, EP, and NCV
- Ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to clinical protocols
- Monitoring patients throughout diagnostic procedures
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring proper functionality
- Collaborating with providers and care teams to support diagnosis and treatment
- Maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with standards
- Supporting overall clinic workflow and patient experience
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Required:
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) program OR completion of an ABRET-recognized program OR Associate degree or higher OR five (5) years of related experience
Experience
Required:
- Two (2) years of experience in Neurodiagnostics
Licensure / Certification
Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
- Seizure First Aid Certification (SFAC) within 30 days
- Must hold one (1) of the following credentials:
- Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T)
- Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R.EP T)
- Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM)
- Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R.NCS.T)
