Job Summary

Join our dynamic team in Johnson City, NY, where the Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist plays a crucial role in performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Work under the guidance of skilled physicians in Angio Interventional Radiology, focusing on neurointerventional services such as angiography, vertebroplasty, embolizations, and more. Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for IR and neurointerventional procedures, including discograms, aspirations, and therapeutic injections.
  • Assist in tumor, epistaxis, and spinal lesion embolization procedures.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment following established protocols.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and radiation safety practices.
  • Instruct students and residents, and perform preceptor duties as needed.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on equipment and maintain supply inventory.
  • Utilize UHS information systems for scheduling and review coding procedures for accurate billing.
  • Engage in continuous learning through lectures, seminars, and educational readings.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
  • Comply with hospital policies regarding incident reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Schedule Notes

Work 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with on-call duties every other weekend. The position offers 4x10-hour shifts. Required certifications include ARRT(R), NYS License, BLS, and experience in IR and neurointerventional procedures.
