Role Description:
  • Neurologist
  • Denver, CO
  • Outpatient Primary Care
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and managing conditions affecting the nervous system
  • General Outpatient neurology position.
  • Conducting Neurological Exams: Assessing physical and cognitive function, including reflexes, cranial nerves, balance, muscle strength, sensory perception, and coordination.
  • Ordering and Interpreting Diagnostic Tests: Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to pinpoint the structural or electrical root of a issue:
  • Neuroimaging: Brain and spine MRI, CT scans, and PET scans.
  • Electrophysiology: EEG (brain activity monitoring), EMG (muscle activity testing), and NCS (nerve conduction studies).
  • Laboratory Work & Procedures: Lumbar punctures (spinal taps) and blood or genetic panels.
  • Designing Treatment Plans: Prescribing pharmaceuticals, recommending physical or occupational therapy, managing medical devices (like deep brain stimulators or vagus nerve stimulators), and coordinating multidisciplinary care.




Requirements:
  • Colorado State Medical License
  • Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible Neurology
