We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Outpatient Neurologist. Located directly within the main hospital building, this role offers the perfect blend of a dedicated outpatient clinic environment, an established support team, and zero traditional hospital call burdens.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
Partner and collaborate with an established, high-functioning clinic team currently comprised of two physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
Manage a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call responsibilities, restricted primarily to reviewing critical patient lab values as needed.
Customize your practice scope based on your clinical preferences, with options to read EEGs (preferred but not required) and/or conduct EMG reads if desired.
Take advantage of optional inpatient coverage opportunities if you have a clinical interest in maintaining acute care exposure.
Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all clinical encounters and consultations.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Neurology
Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)
Valid DEA registration
Strong clinical judgment and a collaborative communication style optimized for a team-based clinic model

$100,000 sign-on incentive that is completely forgiven over four (4) years of service

Eligible for an annual quality incentive up to 10% of your base salary (capped at $50,000) upon meeting baseline metrics once your practice is fully established
