• Hospital Bed Size: 478
• Trauma Level: Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma 

Reason For Coverage: They have 5 pediatric Neurology Physicians. Lost one and 1 is retiring in October, leaving them with not enough coverage for clinic, call, inpatient consults and EMU. 

Dates & Required Availability:  Once privs are granted in 2027  on-going 
 

Shift & Call Details: 
Clinic 8a-5a urgent consults  M-F 
Hospital Schedule 8a-5p  ED Consults  
Call Schedule: 7a-7aP 1 week a month 

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

Job Details:

• Setting: Both 
• Patient Volume:  7-15
• Required Procedures:  100% Pediatric 
• APP Support/Supervision: Will supervise Residents 
• EMR: EPIC
• Client Requirements: BC – required – Clean Background – Covid Vax. Must have GA. lic. 
• Travel Accommodations: Travel paid for by client

Additional Details:

• Pay Rate: Hourly $  Night call$300  SOC$ 225
• Bill Rate:  Hourly $400  Night Call$550 24 hour call $3000   
  • Rate Restrictions: The above bill rate were rates are a guilde.
• Name Clear Process: Please name clear with NPI and DOB. 
• Sub Process: Once clear, will send to WMG locums, they will share with practice (Kerry Cartiedge) and set up a phone screen. Please send all name clears and presentations directly to this inbox and include jicooley@augusta.edu and jim.cooley@wellstar.org on any future invoices.

Online Application

Drug Screening

Wellstar requires a drug screen upfront & it must occur within 1 week (all costs covered). Please complete and return the attached “Chain of Custody” forms.  Once received, I will send you the drug screen location & the necessary forms.
