Position Type: Full-Time Position Summary Insight Hospital & Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing neuroscience program. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with a full-time neurologist to provide high-quality neurological care across both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role will primarily support outpatient neurology clinics while also assisting with inpatient neurological consultations. Clinical responsibilities may extend to multiple Insight locations throughout Chicago and the surrounding Chicagoland suburbs, based on patient and program needs. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in neurology, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to independently manage patients within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice while collaborating closely with the supervising neurologist and multidisciplinary care team. Schedule and Practice Environment This is primarily an outpatient neurology position with additional inpatient consultation responsibilities. The Nurse Practitioner will practice in collaboration with and under the appropriate supervision/collaborative structure of a full-time neurologist in accordance with Illinois law and Insight Hospital & Medical Center policies. The position may require coverage across multiple Insight locations within the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. What We Are Looking For We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner who is clinically strong, dependable, collaborative, and interested in helping build and expand a comprehensive neuroscience program. The successful candidate should be comfortable managing a diverse neurological patient population and working in an environment that includes both established clinical operations and continued service-line growth.
